baseball operations at the Commissioner’s Office, a position left
vacant when Sandy Alderson left to become the CEO of the Padres…

Danny Graves is still not officially a Met, though he expects to be any day now…
…where have i heard that before…
“I
do feel like I’m part of the team,” Graves told reporters, again. “It’s
just a matter of dotting our I’s and crossing our T’s. I’ve got a
uniform with my name on it. But I feel guilty when I have to leave
before the game starts.”…
Prior to last naight’s game, Mike Piazza took some swings off a
batting tee, and Victor Diaz fielded ground balls and took throws at
first base during batting practice.
Piazza is listed as day-to-day, and have no indication that he would be able to start today or Sunday.
