i know cliff was a fan favorite and all, but favorite met of all time?! he had 1 good complete season with us and was really a non factor last season. he might be top 20 on my list but def not favorite of all time IMO

lol, if the Cubs win the world Series I think Roger Clemens, Julio Franco, and Rickey Henderson will all retire too. Actually the Yankees may have a fire sale, the Mets may throw a no hitter, and hell will freeze over before they finally win one.

i hated seeing him go last year, and would feel the same if he retires. good player, good man.

Cliff Floyd was a true class act and I was upset to see him go. I truly wish that he wasn’t so injury prone so that we could still have him. I love Alou, but Floyd was just a great all-around player and person

I could definitely stand for him doing his trademark strikeout-in-the-9th-inning-of-game-7-of-the-NLCS move again this year.

Omar made the right move in letting him go and bringing in Alou, but I still miss Uncle Cliffy…The way Castillo limps around and stuff almost reminds me of Cliff
