The Phillies had every right to celebrate the way they did after that sweep and you know the Mets would have done the same thing had the positions in the standings been reversed. This is why Wright is cut out to be the captain and should one day be chosen for that honor. He doesn't always say interesting things, but he's always generous, gracious, tactful and pretty much wright on. I think Wright’s position is perfect. It's just funny that the sweep was such a turning point in the season of both teams...the Mets came alive afterward, while the Phillies realized that they had just experienced their high point, and came crashing back to earth. That was not <i>just</i> a solo HR. It was a back to back to back, off a hot shot young guy, by a veteran .. he gets a bat flip there.
