if it comes to playing Arizona I’m a lot more concerned that baseball has set up a way for Webb to pitch 3 times rather than where game 7 is being played.

Yup–you want that last AB. And, at least for this year and next, you want the earth-shattering noise of 53k+ Mets fans going absolutely nuts. Mets will obviously not be afraid to go on the road, but there are so many reasons you want to be home in the playoffs. It’s a no brainer.

Absolutely want home field advantage. I don’t care what the stats say. The home team ALWAYS has the advantage, especially in the postseason.

agree 100%, throw out all stats from the regular season when youre in october that includes wins, loses, home/away splits

Regardless of our record at home, or Game 7 last year, I want any deciding game in my home ballpark whenever I can get it.
