"Just a sac fly"....funny. How many games have you lost to us by a run or two that you could have had if one of your guys had hit a sac fly or two?

He hit it so far, it would have been a cheap Citizens Bank Park HR.

And you're gonna tell me his slam was cheap too?

(By the by, Dobbs' OPS is two points better on the road).

Again, my point isn't Marlon Anderson sucks, but that Dobbs is a good pinch hitter this season, and to pretend his two game winning hits in this series were a fluke is to ignore reality.

And I can't remember Dobbs costing us a game like Anderson did in Philly.

Don't worry, dude, I didn't go "Paul LoDuca." Guess you didn't notice the smilies. (Myopic? ) They're there for a purpose.

Still, even if you were responding to Cuban, you brought up history yourself so at least be consistent.

(continued from previous post) As for being myopic, name a popular fan blog which isn't? I'm sure the one for Phlly fans is as myopic or even more so. As an example, you and others can't seem to grasp how CBP inflates your hitters' stats. Here's something to chew on -- Marlon has an OPS+ of 112 (142 with the Mets) and Dobbs is just at 106. In addition, i like how you say "Dobbs knocked in the winning run" when it was just a sac fly. Knocked???

But the point is it doesn't matter what Endy did for the Phillies. He's doing a very good job for the Mets. So why do some of you go around bashing him? Same thing for Marlon. And I'm not talking about just you. There have been other Philly trolls on this board this past weekend. (Which is interesting since you all disappeared in a flash after you team tanked after the last sweep. If the Mets increase their lead again are you going to go into hiding again?)

I left off Dobbs OBP because it wasn't as relevant as OPS.. Marlon's OPS is higher than Dobbs. That's all you really need to know. Plus any Philly hitter's stats have to be viewed as being inflated due to CBP. Marlon did most of his hitting at Shea and Dodgers stadium, both pitchers parks. Marlon's OPS is higher than Conine's as well who incidentally did most of his hitting at GAB. So Marlons better than Conine too
