…alright, this is it…no more magic number, no more ‘we’re still in first’ attitude, no more excuses, nowhere to hide and no more worrying about the Phillies, they’re here and they’re not going anywhere…
…no more booing the players, no more second guessing Willie Randolph and no more blaming Omar Minaya…this is it…the time has come to come together as Mets fans…if you have tickets to this weekend’s game, go and cheer like hell…and if you chose not to go, which frankly i do not understand, give your tickets to a Mets fan that wants to go…
…this is our team, damnit…and we do not give up on our team…yes, they’re not playing as they should and they are on the verge of making a historic collapse, but this is certainly no time to abandon them…
…in the reality of it all, the Mets still hold their own destiny in their hands…win out and they at least clinch a tie for first place in the nl east…and we as fans need to will them to win, be that 10th man on the field…this is it…let’s do this…let’s go mets…
