The Braves have announced that they will not re-sign OF Andruw Jones, who will become a free agent this off-season.
Jones, as quoted by the Associated Press…
“I’m fine with it. I’m appreciative of the chance they gave me to play for Atlanta all these years. I understand the decision
they have to make. That’s just the way it is. It’s a business.”

In 655 career at-bats against the Mets, Jones hit .260 with 26 HR and 90 RBI.
