i’d give him the league minimum for one more year if he wants to stick around.

No way Paulie comes back. We all know this and so does he. I’m curious to see how honest he is today.

  3. Gekko613 says:

Unless they land Posada or Pudge, not bringing back Paulie is a mistake.

It says 6 comments. What happened to the other comments.?

  5. Mets Fan on Wall St. says:

Paulie is surprisingly subdued, being a little political in fact. And I have to imagine it’s killing him not placing more of the blame on the pitchers. Although he seems like a catcher that always has his pitchers back.

Not sure why everyone is so down on LoDuca. He did a decent job this year, although he should have sat more down the stretch as his injuries were clearly hurting the club.

From a catcher, I look for good pitch selection, a decent arm, any offense is a bonus…Along with CF and SS, it is the most critical defensive position.

Yea, he belongs in the Mets bullpen

  10. VCarver says:

Not just Hoffman, but Peavy. Peavy has melted down in almost every previous postseaosn game, in this year’s all-star game, then again yesterday. He may be a Cy Young pitcher but John Maine and Ollie are better big game pitchers than him!
