Which is fine, and I think that is appropriate. But I have no problem with Wright or any other Met making a promotional appearance now. Better now than during the season when they could get distracted or worn out by too many activities. And Wright did a fine job down the stretch. If it was Mota or Glavine who was doing one of these appearances, I might have an issue. But I doubt anyone would want to see either of these players now.
