Buzz: Miguel Cabrera is on the Market
In his blog for ESPN.com, citing ‘industry sources,’ Peter Gammons writes that teams have been notified by the Marlins that 3B Miguel Cabrera can
be had in a trade, and will cost at least ‘three significant young players.’
For instance, according to Gammons, assuming their interested, the Yankees will likely be asked to part with at least RHP Philip Hughes, while the Dodgers will likely be asked for at least LHP Clayton Kershaw or 3B Andy LaRoche, among others.
…good…as i have said before, i rather the Mets send their best package off for pitching…and so, if a team like the Yankees or Dodgers end up parting with their best prospects for cabrera, it means there will be one less team in the market for pitching…
