The fact is that if Lincecum is indeed on the block and available...I'm sure that a few other teams would have more top tier chips to deal for him...unless we decide to trade Delgado, Beltran or Wright for him which would be ridiculous. I think that there are other viable and exciting options out there like Jon Garland or even Eric Bedard who I think has nasty stuff. I don't have a solution but I do know we need help and am highly doubtful that it'll come by way of Tim Lincecum I absolutely agree with you man. I've been calling for him all off-season. (the whole week of it anyway) he is someone who can quickly make an impact on the Mets and fill in those "lost" 200+ innings that Glavine leaves behind. Plus, I think with CWS in rebuild mode, he could be had not so much on the "cheap" but for less than what we'd expect. Don't get me wrong - I like the idea of lincecum on the team, but like someone else said, we'd prob have to trade more than Stings to get him unfortunately.
