…well, it’s certainly the Hot Stove Season, because this site has
seen its standard, steady, rumor-fueled increase in readers during the last few weeks, as you can see in the featured chart…for a bigger version, click the image…yesterday, 63,000 people logged on to MetsBlog.com, yet no actual news occurred…
…i don’t yet know how i will eventually die, but i am starting to think it could end up being from a covert assassination attempt, orchestrated by your boss or school teacher…
…seriously, though, thank you so much for the continued support…the last four years have been an absolute adventure, none of which would be possibile without you…
By the way, if you have time, and have yet to do so, please complete the following four-minute, anonymous survey to help me improve MetsBlog.com, which you can access by clicking here.

I like the Hot Stove season. I hate a majority of the Hot Stove readers.
I noticed that the Confidence Rating jumped from 4.2 to 6.2, seemingly overnight. Is this a result of A-Rod rumors that he’s on the verge of a deal with the Yanks? We’re 50% more confident in our team without A-Rod than we were with the prospect of getting him? Not making much sense.
It’s the ‘hope’ of the off-season, looking towards next season.
It happens every Fall.
Matt, out of curiousity, does this poll count every view (including refreshes) of this page, or separate IP addresses that access the page?
Nevermind, I didn’t see the orange at the top of each bar on the chart. That’s seriously unbelievable
Just say no to Torrealba.
I’d rather have Jessica Alba catching, she could probably hit .255 and at least she’s HOT!
I’d like to watch her catch too…if you know what I mean.
I do, hahahahahah, I really do!
She can be my “receiver” any day.
Our jobs as fans run 365 days a year, no vacation. I’m just as interested in what is going on November 15 as I am May 15. This site kills others and I’m still so surprised that the actual teams don’t do a better job of employing bloggers. Keep up the good work Matt.
I cringe at the day my job picks up on this site as one of the many they block….
You disappointed me, Matt! You left off the Buffalo Bills from the survey. I know they’re not as “local” as the other NY teams, but they are a NY team. Let’s Go Buffalo!
