I still think Tad is the best option out there. I watched a lot of White Sox games with my brother, he became a "fan" soon before they won the World Series and the guy can play. Pretty good glove. Can do a lot with his bat and would fit well into our needs, in my opinion.

I agree with a poster above who called for trading for Orlando Hudson. Unfortunately, we probably have to save our chips for a good starter instead which means losing out on a Hudson. Maybe Hudson is someone we can target at the trading deadline instead. At least that way we know what chips we have to offer. Right now, we don't know where any of our young talent will be dealt and for what pitcher in return.

Predictions based on random effects model program I've been working on with park adjusted three year averages. Predictions are just that predictions, no model is perfect, however, these numbers don't stray to far from the players three year average assuming healthy 162 game season, which you can confirm by reviewing any baseball encyclopedia (or baseball-reference.com).

I'm very interested to hear what his asking price is....in terms of the type of player they are I think he's every bit as good as a Castillo or an Eckstein, but depending on the numbers and the seeming hype surrounging Castillo and Eckstein more, theres a chance he might be cheaper to get. He's not your prototypical #2 hitter, but with OBP's around .350 each of the last two years I can't imagine him being bad at it, and if it doesn't work out we can always re-try one of Milledge, Beltran, or Wright as a #2 hitter (Probably Milledge).

where's the meat in these guys
not a championship line up
that's why I say Jeff Kent
one at a time, our line up is going to a very average batter
what's the plan?

.....and if you trade L Millz for a pitcher which is probable, then the team is really screwed balance-wise!

Checking out ESPN player profile, Iguchi looks to be a good defender with only 6 errors each of the last 2 seasons. Problem is he is no #2 hitter. So with him in the fold, you have Torreabla batting 7th and Iguchi batting 8th....do you put L Millz in the #2 hole?
