…i’d like to take a minute and wish you all a Happy Thanksgiving…as i have said so many times before, i am quite thankful that you continue to read MetsBlog.com, and appreciate the hard work we all put in to making this site tick…
…i have been writing MetsBlog.com for just over four years, and it’s been a fun and exciting ride, and i could not have done it without you…and the excitement has only just begun, as you will learn more about next week…
…so, again, thank you, from the bottom of my blue-and-orange heart, and i hope you and your family have a very happy and healthy holiday…

Matthew,
Long time fan who just found the site and am loving it! Have a great Thanksgiving!!!
Matt: Your blog is awesome. As a Mets fan, I am thankful to have a reliable source of Mets news during the season and in the offseason. Keep it up. Now that I have registered, I will try to contribute to the site. Happy Turkey Day.
Have a great Thanksgiving and thanks for all the hard work.
“and the excitement has only just begun, as you will learn more about next week…”
Matt, you can’t tell us something’s going to happen and then make us wait…..what is going to happen next week?
Willie Randolph is going to get canned…at least that will be my wish when I yank the wishbone tomorrow. Happy Thanksgiving to all and to all a good night!
i’ve been on board for a long time and i’ve enjoyed every minute of the ride. one of these days i’m going to find out if the commenters drive you as nuts as they drive me…
but, no, matt… thank YOU!! happy thanksgiving to you and yours and everyone in Metsblog land.
Winter Meetings!!!
I’m thankful for you, because what else would I do all day?
Happy Thanksgiving to you too Matt. And best wishes to the other contributors to this site as well as my fellow Mets fans for providing me with the most entertaining and must read sports site anywhere. Also, if there are any Mets players or members of the organization who happen to read my post, I wish you all a very Happy Thanksgiving too. If you’re here, I know you’re part of the family.
Happy Thanksgiving to Matt, your contributors and many many readers!
I, too, am a longtime Mets fanatic who just recently found this site. Thank you, Matt, your fellow bloggers, and all commentors for making this my #1 source for Mets news. Happy GiveThanksing to all!
Happy Thanksgiving Matt and Company. Thanks for all the hard work.
My Sweet potatos will taste even sweeter now that Mota is gone
So true.
Happy Thanksgiving to all.
Thanks Matt. Have a great holiday to you too. Thanks for having such a informative and addictive site. I come to it very often.
Selling Metsblog to the Mets???

happy turkey day!! gobble gobble to all
Happy Thanksgiving, Matt, and Happy Thanksgiving, all.
Happy Thanksgiving Matt! I’m new and I love this site. You do a great job!
Happy Thanksgiving to ALL METS FANS!!!
Four years…That’s how long I’ve been in graduate working on my PhD and it’s also the number of years I’ve been reading Metsblog religiously. There has to be a way to combine the two.
Happy Thanksgiving to all, or as they say it in my house Happy Sanguibin!
To me, Christmas came early with Mota’s quick exit this off season.
Matt, thanks for all the Hot Stove fun. I have been a die hard Mets fan since 1973, and have lived and died with the likes of Randy Tate, Tom Seaver, Jerry Koosman, and Jose Lima (et al).
Hope you are able to get a couple of days rest, but too much. I, like many will go nuts having nothing informative to log into this holiday weekend.
Happy Thanksgiving to all…
Happy Thankgiving! As another is nears the end. Let us reflect back this past year. Thank you Matt for this site and cannot wait for the Winter Meetings.
Happy Thanksgiving Matt and other Metsblog writers and readers. Love this site found it about a year and a half ago and have been addicted since. Keep up the great work
Happy Thanksgiving to you too, Mr Cerrone.
What does everyone think of Ian Snell?
http://www.mlbfleecefactor.com
Matt, been with you since mid ‘06 love your work keep it up Happy Thanksgiving to you.
JKWIS, I like Ian Snell very much. Curious what’s Pitts motivation in trading him? Seems like a guy you’d want to build around.
Has anyone heard anything about who the other 5 players were that Milwaukee would’ve accepted for Estrada?
Matt, I’ve wrote this to you in the past, and I’m writing it out here for the Net to see. Thank you for having the guts to have this blog. All of your staff, and Joe at MetsToday, and Zoe at her blog (Pick Me Up Some Mets), and the crew at MetsGeek. I would love to be able to do what you people do, but being 20 miles north of Albany limits me. (That, and my one-month-old daughter limits me a tad.) I rely on the aforementioned group–your bunch and Joe the most–to keep my Mets head on my body. May all of the posters here, and the posters (and webmasters) at the other sites have a Happy Thanksgiving–yes, even you, mistermet. :D ;)
If Christmas sees us with some guy named “Johan Santana” on our roster, . . . !
From your lips (keyboard) to God’s ears, sincey! :)
Happy Thanksgiving to you and yours!
Santa…..Santana….hmmmm! :)
I’m thankful for Metsblog.
Ditto this sentiment. This really is the best place to be to talk about the Mets and baseball. Thanks Matt and enjoy your Holidays.
I thank you and the crew for all your hard work you guys put in. My boss does not. Keep up the good work
Matt,
Happy Thanksgiving and congrats on the big deal. I heard about it during a meeting there and know the guys…. they are good guys. Again, best wishes!

So, what is it…
Happy Thanksgiving to you and yours, Matt! Truly thankful for all you do!
remember when all we had were the espn boards…
THANK YOU MATT & METBLOG STAFF!
CBS Sportsline for me… One evening thinking there has to be something better then this (as you all might remember all the other posters dising Met fans on sportsline) any way looking for Mets info I stumbled onto Metsblog. Matt you had just started this blog. I have been a loyal reader checking the site several times a day. I must tell you just last week this site has been fire walled at work that really sucks. Maybe someone can tell me how to get around it.
Matt thanks for all you do. Happy Thanksgiving to all.
Have a great Thanksgiving all.
(and don’t forget to watch the next big upset in the NFL tomarra…what rhymes with Mets? How about Jets!)
Love you guys! Love dem Mets since the Polo Grounds…
Thank you, Sir. May I have another?… Wait…wrong blog.
Happy Thanksgiving Cerone, staff, and fellow Metsbloggers.
Happy Thanksgiving Matt and all the Metsblog writers…i am thankful for you!
Happy Thanksgiving to all, and thank Matt for a terrific, informative site! Reading it is one of the high points of my day. All the best to you and you family.
From one (inferior) blogger to another….thanks, Matt! Happy turkey day!
Hey man,
found this site last year and can’t keep away. I am a hugh Mets fan,and appreciate all the work.
Happy thanksgiving.
Thanks Matt and Happy Thanksgiving. I know I am a critic of yours at times but I am thankful for this site as a venue for sharing opinions. Happy thanksgiving to all of you guys!
I am also extremely thankful for all that you have done with this site. Happy Thanksgiving, and Let’s Go Mets.
happy turkey lurkey day!!! A Day isn’t complete without a trip to metsblog!
Thanks Matthew and crew for all your hard work. MetsBlog is a priceless resource for Mets information.
I’m in my second offseason as a Metsblog reader, and all I can say is you guys are the best!
Matt:
You’ve almost single handedly (can’t say you could have done it without your other writers, but I’m sure you’d admit that quite willingly ;) ) turned the Mets into one of the most cutting edge sports franchises, at least in terms of the internet/blogging revolution. Keep up the good work. We’ll always be here reading and commenting away, for better or worse (I’m lookin at you with the worse part mistermet)
Just wanted to say Happy Thanksgiving to you Matt and your fellow bloggers. Thanks for making this site my number one source for Mets news. Keep up the good work!
Matt,
Thank you for doing what you do. Not a day goes by that I don’t go to Metsblog (and most days is multiple times). I can’t think of life without it at this point. And, besides, now I can prove to my wife that I’m not the only crazed Mets fan.
Happy Thanksgiving!
Charlie
Happy Thanksgiving to all. Also thanks for this great site and all the info you guys give us. It’s greatly appreciated
HAPPY THANKSGIVING MATTHEW – to you and your family!!!
Another great year on Metsblog! Yes, I am very thankful for all the hard work that you have put in to make this all happen. Hard to believe the timing and luck that I just happened to enter the fulltime cyberworld and stumble upon Metsblog just after its inception. I know you don’t read so much of the comment section, as you’ve mentioned, but if by chance you happen to read this one, thanks again!
my original comment didn’t make it, so:
Thank you, Matt, for the best site on the web for gossip, fact, and (usually) well informed conversation. Best fans in baseball here.
May all of your turkeys be well-cooked, juicy, and delicious.
Thanks and Happy Thanksgiving to you too Matt. This site is the greatest and I really appreciate all your the hard work you put in to it. Thanks again and Go Mets!
Happy Thanksgiving to you too even though some of my posts were yanked!
Matt,
Happy thanksgiving to you and the gang. Thanks for guiding us through the emotional roller coaster of being a Mets fan.
32 years in the desert has done nothing do dampen the fire that burns within for my beloved Mets. With the advent of MetsBlog ( and MLBtv.com) I’m able to keep up with my team as if I were still in NY.
I give thanks today for Matt and his cohorts for making this my first stop when I logon…
Happy Thanksgiving from Las Vegas
Matt,
Thanks for all that you and your crew do in order to provide your fellow Mets fans with such a great site. Happy Thanksgiving!
