It seems like people expect Omar to be able to trade Pelfrey straight up for Santana. Let me play devil's advocate here. When you make a trade proposal, there better be a player (or 2) in there that you really don't want to give up. I'm of the opinion that keeping Pelfrey would be the way to go. I know I'm the minority, but we can't gut the farm, youth, and depth of a team that lacks it already. I say give the kids a chance this season. We can't afford a disaster, but there are plenty of veterans and stud players on this team to get the job done.
