He got roasted for Schoe, so you think 4 years, 19mill would have gone over big for Linebrink? They should have plenty of decent guys competing in ST. Incumbants, rehabs (Sanchez), young bucks (Kunz, that USC guy), starters without a home (Humber, Pelf, El Duque). Sure, pick up someone good if they can, otherwise sift through what they have, and try to grab a live arm off the waiver wire. there isn’t much out there for the pen that deosn’t require too much talent in trade, or way too long a contract.

They dont seem to have an interest in any of the free agents out there. Last offseason Omar concentrated on about 20 starters, ended up with none of them, and then all that was left in the pen was Schoeneweis.
