Anything you get out of your catcher offensively is a bonus, Schneider is a great defensive catcher so if he's able to keep runners from stealing bases so teams have to get 2 hits to score a run instead on just 1 than he is saving more runs than any catcher we get could hit in. How many times did someone get a base hit steal second because Lo Duca couldn't throw him out and then the next batter got a hit to score him?
