Bedard and baggage for a package not including Fernando and including Heilman is the way to go.. 4. Absorbing the O's dead weight will trump any deal the Dodgers or Dbacks can put together. (who are the real competition for Bedard) 1 – you DONT include a 0-3 pitcher who won 15 games in Maine for a 3-6 player who is signed for three years..

It just doesn't make much sense does it? Heilman is a MLB proven pitcher and if he prepares as a SP for next season I gotta believe he is as good an option as lots of other names out there?
