If some of their young talent won't nail down a quality SP (and I imagine they're not even looking for a bona fide ace, more like a solid #2 since they've got Webb already). I think this deal gives us a little perspective on what pitching will cost in this market-- much like the Mets with Milledge, Arizona wanted to get pitching back for Quentin but couldn't find an appealing option.
