Buzz: Mets, M’s and Dodgers like Bedard
According to the Baltimore Sun, the Dodgers, Mariners and Mets have been the most aggressive teams trying to acquire LHP Erik Bedard from the Orioles.

Mets GM Omar Minaya talked by phone yesterday with O’s VP Andy MacPhail, writes the Sun, adding that the two sides could meet face to face on Tuesday.
The Mets are still pushing Carlos Gomez in a deal for Bedard, writes Joel Sherman in the New York Post, however, ‘Baltimore and Oakland are looking for packages at least as big as what Santana will draw.’
