The stupid thing is that if Milledge was on another team and could have gotten him for a bag of balls or even a little more, he would have jumped all over it, but instead it’s in reverse. But then again, there is the factor of Omar so far focusing on who the Mets don’t want (Mota/Lo Duca/Green/Milledge) as opposed to who they do or I should say SHOULD want. Lately it doesn’t seem like he has a clue and I’m so expecting to Hernandez Brothers in Flushing. Very sad.

Before we were the Nationals, we were Minaya’s Expos. He wrecked our franchise.

Actually, though, Kearns is not bad. Take a peek at his home/away splits. He’s a pretty decent hitter everywhere but RFK, where he hit .250 and he slugs a bunch too.

Pelfrey is the Mets best pitching prospect? Damn they’re in trouble. Many Mets fans want to defend Pelfrey and talk about stuff, but based on what I’ve seen he doesn’t compare to many other “top pitching prospects” that are around baseball.

I’m not crazy about Kearns so I would rather the Mets move Pelfrey for someone else if the opportunity comes along.
