…and i turn 32…yes, it’s my birthday today, as well…

    Happy birthday….

    For the record, I see no reason why the Mets can’t swoop in at the 11th hour and get Santana. The Yanks have dropped out, causing the Sox to start lowballing. If we’re going to empty out the farm for Bedard, then we should be able to do so for Santana…that’s still a better offer than Crisp/Lester.

        Eh, I don’t know.
        Forgive the post of frustration…
        I realize we don’t have the blue chip prospects the Twins want.
        But I also see us giving up the entire farm elsewhere and part of me hopes inside that, if we are now willing to do that, that perhaps the Twins would be amenable to the quantity offer and see that as better than the Sox’ quality offer.

        So shoot me…I want Santana.
