Ollie + Gomez + something minor (Humber at most) would be plenty, considering Perez potentially could be as good in the next couple of years as either of these guys, and he is younger. Only real problem is he is a FA after 2008, which limits his value in a trade. But, say the receiving team could extend him? Maybe even Minn could afford that, Balt really should be able to, if they are willing to extend Bedard. Lets say, for fun, Ollie + gomez + Carp = Bedard (santana?) Humber + smith + schneider = DOntrelle + Pudge. Plus a few minor parts if needed (B prospects at best). Lineup up looks the same, with Pudge at C. I don't particularly think pudge is worth the extra cost, but Omar is known to like him and I thin the Tigers would insist on him in a package to dump the salary.
