For all the FMart talk about talent and age: Fernando hasn't show much in the minors. He was listed in the top 20 by MiLB, but I really don't get it. We've all seen the Alex Ochoa, Butch Huskey, Ryan Thompson, Gregg Jeffries, and others come and go. Lets get Santana in here. Three other thoughts I don't think Gotay is attracting any callers. I really wish the mets would give him a shot. I've got a gut feeling about the kid. I don't think Podsednik or Wilkerson will take a minor league deal. Those deals are usually reserved for players nearing the end of their careers; Sandy Alamor Jr., Fernando Tatis, and Chan Ho Park. I like Mench and Garcia as acquisitions.
