Note: Next Year’s Free-Agent Pitchers

by Matthew Cerrone on December 10th, 2007 at 10:51 am

…for what it’s worth, as of now, the following pitchers are able to become free agents at the end of next season

Also, A’s RHP Dan Haren, Dodgers RHP Brad Penny and Angels RHP John Lackey all have team options that can be exercised, thus keeping them under contract for one more year, or their team can cut them loose and make them free agents.

Lastly, Blue Jays RHP A.J. Burnett can opt out of his current contract, which is set to pay him $12 million during each of the following two seasons.
