If you can get him for a 3 year contract, that is not really that much different than spending the time and money on a younger pitcher pitcher who you don't know what you'll get out of. We are a contender, we are a big market club, the potential upside is incredible. I say he is more than worth a flyer. In fact, I'm going to call Omar Minaya right now... Dotel, Colon and Prior are the obvious health risk....Silva is a talent risk and will take more years to get. But the rewards outweigh the risks.
