Buzz: Yankees Out of Santana Race

by Matthew Cerrone on December 22nd, 2007 at 9:22 am

In Newsday, citing ‘a source with knowledge of the situation,’ Kat O’Brien writes that the Yankees do not expect to acquire Johan Santana.

According to the source, ‘I don’t see it happening with us. We pulled out in Nashville, and we haven’t put an offer back on the table.’

…whatever…i mean, these reports about the Yankees are starting to feel like the hokey-pokey…seriously, i believe nothing, when it comes to how the Yankees do businesshowever, unless they’re willing to include Philip Hughes, which so far they are not, the Yankees are out of the picture
