I remember one pitcher who was considered a stud like Santana. He got a big [payday contract and ended up on the Dodgers and the Yankees. He was paid out big dollars and ended up either hurt or underperforming for most of his contract. I am not saying this is comparable to Santana, but I do hesitate at this point . If it is just the money and years maybe, just the prospects, maybe but both...I just don't want to end up regreting this... Trust me, Detroit is going to be amazing with adding the Marlin men - but Boston is still the favorite in AL.
