What are you going to do, promote some AAA rookie with no experience and cant hit to replace them? If we actually had someone there to do the job I might be inclined to agree with you but with nobody as backup I cant see doing it. You guys keep asking if we trade the farm what are we going to do when one or two of our pitchers go down. Same principle here. You're going to be complaining why we dont have a quality backup. Plus I dont think he ever played short since high school. Gotay is the main backup at the second, short, and third positions right now. So Gotay in no way is expendable.
