Lee Mazzilli will return to SNY for the 2008 season.
…i’ll be honest, it was a rough start for mazz, who looked very uncomfortable during those first few broadcasts…however, as the season moved on, he adjusted very well…by the end of the season, i started looking forward to his specific opinions, because he brought a brutal, but necessary honesty to a very, very disappointing end to the season…
By the way, SNY will broadcast 16 spring-training games beginning on February 29 against the Cardinals.

It’s good news about Mazzilli; I like the fact that he’s honest and doesn’t sugar coat the truth.
I must be losing my mind… I thought Mazz got a coaching job
I think he turned it down or withdrew his name. Something about a sick relative (father?) and wanting to stay in Ct.
I must be losing my mind too because I thought he was going to the Dodgers with Joe Torre. I’m glad he isn’t because I like him on SNY too.
After he finished looking uncomfortable, he looked really orange. Or maybe I need to fix the hue on my TV.
BTW I don’t think it was a coaching job he rejected … I believe he was going to be in a Sopranos spinoff that fell through at the last minute.
