making an all-star game doesn't make you an all-star player. reyes, wright, and kazmir are perennial all-star. top of mlb talent.

uggla? 1 all-star game. not of their level
street? 0 all-star games
haren? 1 all-star game/season. lots of hype though
liriano was developed by the giants not the twins

you names guys from 10 years ago.

as i said you have a couple of teams. there are 30 teams. maybe 5 have produced better in the last 5 years

wow.. you are crazy.... how did I find 1 or 2???

Phillies are 1.. you didn't argue that one... Clevenad is 2.. Hafner, Victor Martinez, Hafner, Carmona, and CC Sabitha... jeez that's what 5???

Rockies? Are you crazy? Kazmir has made at one game, and he counts? But Atkins and Fuentes (whose made it twice) doesn't? I also frogot the runner up to the MVP Matt Holiday.. and Tulowitky is a real talent but buried in the NL.. so that's a huge 3...

Evenwithout Hanley that's 3 for the Marlins in Cabrera, Willis, and Uggla.. I'm pretty sure one of Olsen or Josh Johnson made the game... so that's 4....

Santana was what a rule V pick? How can you not give them Credit for those? Liriano was a throw in as well.. Santana's first ML game was with the Twins.. they were the ones who found him and beleived in him... that's 5...

Oakland has at least two.. Haren started the game last year.. Street has made it as well.. and I'm pretty sure there was a 5 year period when Street, Zito, Mulder, Tejada and Chavez made all the star game together..

Now that I've had time to look at this.. I even found a few more:

The Orioles.. Markakis, Berdard, BJ Ryan.. and we all know John Maine.. and by your logic he's an orioles prospect

The Brewers have 2 big ones in Prince and Ryan Bruyan, and have probably had a 3rd all star to go with them in the past 5 years.. Sheets, Turnbow, etc..

The Sox.. Papelbon, Pedoria, Youkillis.. and soon to be Ellsbury, Bucholtz, and by your logic they get Hanley as well..

Face it.. producing 3 all star caliber players in a 5 year span is NOT THAT IMPRESSIVE

"Mini-Manny." That's funny. Comedy gold.

Yeah, Victor Diaz is just like a smaller version of Manny Ramirez, except without all of the talent.

marlins: hanley is a red sox prospect

twins: santana was an astros prospect. liriano a giants prospect

rockies: those are not all-star. they're decent guys who have made the team once

blue jays: wells has been playing for almost 10 years. halladay even longer

oakland: none of those are in the last 5 years (not the all-stars)

so you found 1 or 2. in other words, there are few teams that have done it. very few.

Hmm.. let see. Phillies (Utley, Howard, Hammels, and maybe Rollins.. dont' know when his rookie year was)

Marlins - Willis, Cabrera, Hanley Ramirez (dont know if he made the game yet, no denying he's all star talent), toss in Ugla to that mix who did make the all star game so that's 4

(there's two teams in our own division)

Twins - Mauer, Monreu, Johan, and I think Liriano made it the one year before his shoulder blew..

Rockies - Francis, Atkins, Fuentes to go along with Helton every year

Blue Jays - Hallady, Rios, Veron Wells, and if Kazmir somehow applies to the Mets then Chris Carpentner does to the Jays as well

Oakland for fun.. pick a 5 year gap that includes any combination of Giambi, Tejada, Chavez, Hudson, Zito, Mulder and more recently Swisher, Haren, and Street...

So there's 6 teams off the top of my head..

Cleveland probably counts too (CC, Seizmore, Victor Martinez, Hafner)

3 all star players in 5 years is not such an un common feat
