Very gracious of him to lower his demands. What a gentleman.

Think it has anything to do with no team offering him close to what he was looking for?

I can live with A Rod and Santana gettin funny money deals, since they produce, but stiffs like Lohse and Silva getting 10-12 million, for 3-4 years, is just insane.

i like lohse….. alot but only if things are going right for him at the time. All the factors have to be right. Hes the perfect type of pitcher i like in the 5 spot. But for 10 million lets be serious. I dont even mind 3-4 years b/c i see talent in him and he will get better. even if hes 29. Still this should be his prime time. But unless they go to down to 6mill a year or lower…. i think we can do better.
