What kind of tickets? I’m guessing Upper Reserved or the reduced view seats in the back of the Loge/Mezzanine, but any comformation on this? Are they at least decent upper reserved?
I know it sounds selfish, but im not gonna travel an hour to donate blood there when I can do it nearby if that’s the incentive. It’s not worth the travel expenses alone and if I want to go to a game I’ll just buy 2 better tickets.
i am willing to give blood if it means we will be getting johan…o=D
Was going to suggest that as well. In reality, I think the Mets are thinking the 20% price hike just wasn’t enough.
I forgot how much I dreaded seeing that red cross during the season. I saw it a moment ago & got a pavlovian sinking feeling in my stomach.
Glad to see it here for something positive.
Next you will have to give an arm and a leg to get into Shea for it’s last season =)
Ohh wait…
will be interesting to see if tthe mets do the same thing in citifield.. giving away free tickets to donate blood..
what’s citifield?
Could I trade in the tickets for an autographed Santana ball?
Giving blood is a noble act with or without getting free tickets. Who cares where the seats are? I understand though it is easier to give blood close to home rather than driving to Shea. The tickets are an incentive to drive not to give blood.
less needles the lesser chance for human error
did the mets stop doing free wednesdays at picnic seats with pepsi bottles?
=( those were the days…….
No, I believe they were still doing that last season.
Yea they stopped. I miss that.
They definately didn’t do it last season because the “picnic area” was sponsored by Ameriquest.
see you at the blood drive
