I agree you definitely look much more comfortable on-air than the first few times I've seen you. i'm sure that will only improve. now you just need to work on that kermit the frog voice of yours (just some old good-natured ribbing, of course!)

We were all more intent on what you had to say than how you looked - that said, well done!

But, now that you mention it ....

You did look a little jittery - you might want to lay-off the sugar and/or caffeine, beforehand, next time (LOL)!

And, what's with the hands? You reminded me of the quirky character "Jerry" from the tv show "Boston Legal" who walks around with his hands on the fronts of his thighs. LOL!

(I ruined a wedding photo with that 'hand' thing. Damned photographer, what the hell was she looking at?!! LOL)

Just poking fun at you, Matt. You know, we all love you, right?

Practice makes perfect. Keep up the good work!

Salute!

Hi Matt, Great job on SNY last night. You looked and sounded terrific. Even though we've never met, I felt like I was watching an old friend. : ) Metsblog is the first thing I read the minute I get into the office every day (just don't tell my boss that!)

Keep up the fantastic work and thanks.

Was it just me or did it seem like Brian Custer had never been on Metsblog before in his life? I mean come on, do a little research. He said something like, "yeah, I bet the activity on the site is really going to heat up now!" I mean its BEEN hot, if anything, this is all anti-climactic.

Maybe I'm just being sensitive for your sake Cerrone.

Either way, I'm glad I can now worry about stupid things like this now that we have Johan in the fold.

(smiling on the inside)

i say "ditto" to all of the comments above and add my own thanks and congrats on sharing your knowledge with us through this off-season. whenever i felt a little bit down, there was invariably a good spin about this whole idea to read on your site.

my special compliments for using the word "nudgy." that was genius and spoken like a true new york mets fan.
