Thanks Matt, I appreciate all the work you do to keep us all updated over anything Met related.

  2. Mitch45 says:

I’m sure the Mets don’t want to take the spotlight away from the Giants right now, so they’ll wait until after the parade and the attendant media attention.

    My guess is Thursday.

  3. KingWright says:

I thought it was confirmed for Wednesday?

  4. Nate W. says:

I predict a new all time high in the confidence rating, Santana and ST coming, no reason for anything but optimism right now!

That graphic looks great….Too bad we are entering to No-Sports zone (I don’t follow NBA or NCAA basketball, or the NHL)

    • MacD81 says:

Same here. Its the dregs until SNY starts broadcasting ST games on the weekend.

      • MetsieFan84 says:

It was absolutely funny listening to everyone add their own humor to the Santana contract extension talks. It made my day.

its ok we sill have the pro bowl haha but yea i hate this part of the year. everything is just basketball since no one actually covers hockey anymore.

      • GravediggerHebner says:

SNY is broadcasting games from the Caribbean World Series, there’s one on right now.

“OMG THEY WON’T SCHEDULE THE PRESS CONFERENCE!! FIRE OMAR!!! GET RIDDA FREDDIE COUPONS!!1!”

I almost miss those kind of comments now…

    • shea jones says:

Apparently MrMet and FireMetsManagement have entered the Witness Relocation Program.

      • MetsieFan84 says:

They didn’t like that Omar and the Wilpons shut them up so they have nothing to rant and cry about until a losing streak.

        • Hit The Weights Zeile says:

i think it was the same person but dont worry as soon as johan doesnt have a 1-2-3 inning we’ll hear plenty of comments about him being damaged goods or how we mortgaged the future.

      • IH8FREDCOUPONS says:

I am right here…I was no. 1….I am eating crow I was wrong….I dont run away in hiding I admit my errors…Lets Go Mets…..Plus I never mentioned Omar…He is the reason why hes here in the first place….

    • MetsieFan84 says:

Most of the Met fans are all worn out from the trade to the contract extension to the physical. Right now, Met fans are in a happy place until spring training that is. lol :)

  7. cpboyan says:

Will ESPN cover it, or am I out of luck if I’m out of the SNY area?

  8. wiseman says:

    looking forward to it!

  9. gipper913 says:

Last night, the G-men proved the old adage that defense wins football championships.

This season, with Johan, the Mets have the opportunity to prove the old adage that pitching wins baseball championships.

    Let’s go Mets!

    • CaseStreet says:

I think Omar’s 3 keys are Pitching, Speed, and Defense. I think we’re about 90% there.
