I really don’t think he needs to apologize, it’s legal he grew up doing this people are so quick to judge who are we to make him apologize for something that is normal, I think that PETA was out of line to call him out like that people in the U.S should understand that’s a different culture they do different things then we do.

The bottom line, in the Dominican, where this happened, it’s LEGAL! he Committed no Crime.

Is it distasteful? In my opinion, Yes, But he has nothing to apologise for, this is such a non issue.
