What's the over/under on how many times Ryan Howard strikes out against the Mets this year?

I'll take the over on anything up to 25 ;)

Pedro will always have love from me, from the moment he slammed Don Zimmer down on to the ground during the 2003 ALCS...I never laughed so hard...

I wouldn't go seven All-Stars. I'm happy with four. However . . .

Johan will go 22-5. Cy Young.
Pedro will go 15-7, with 195 IP and 200+ Ks.
Maine? 15-9 or so.
Ollie, because it's a contract year, 17-10.
El Deadguy? 11-5 with six weeks off, when Pelfrey or Armas come up and go 3-2 or 4-1.

Going back to the All-Stars, let's remember how many Giants went to Aloha Stadium last Sunday . . . one.

It's interesting to hear Pedro talking today about how worn down he was when he came back last year, and I can believe it. After that rigorous training he went through, he must have been tired, and for him to come back and still pitch well, shows you something. It also says that he might be able to pitch deeper into games then he did last year given he'll be well rested and in a normal routine. Additionally, I can't wait to see how his curve ball has come along. That was the one pitch he lacked a bit, and is usually the last one to come back, the hardest to get the feel back. So who knows, Pedro might be Pedro in '08. I think he'll be good, but if he's '05 Pedro or beginning of '06 Pedro even? Watch out...
