In Newsday, David Lennon writes about Luis Castillo’s Red Cadillac Escalade.
According to Burt Hubbach in the New York Post, Carlos Delgado arrived to camp yesterday, “In a tricked-out red Escalade with a cab that extended into the street.”
However, according to Lisa Kennelly in the Star-Ledger, the mysterious Red Escalade belongs to Moises Alou, ‘though there was no sign of Alou himself.’
…so, either some one is wrong here, or there is an inordinate number of ‘tricked-out’ Red Escalades in Mets camp…

So that’s how Omar is getting these guys to come to the Mets! I wonder what Santana got. Hmm.
Matt – Can you send Kevin a text to sniff this one out? I’ll bet DWright will know who’s pimping what out there…
I wouldn’t put it past GM advertising
Alou isn’t in camp yet.
umm.. these escalades should be BLUE with Orange Highlights!
It sure was nice of Alou to allow Castillo to live in his car this offseason.
I hope they were just carpooling.
they must use the same day care…
I think Alou was just in the men’s room…
Good to see Mets Players are worried about Global Warming. I guess Santana is probably driving a Monster Truck.
I could see a bottle of Milwaukee Light dropping on your head right after you clicked on “add comment”…what do you want them to drive – a Ford Focus hybrid?
and metsfanatic wants all Major League Baseball teams to travel by train instead of private chartered jets. This will help cut down greenhouse gas emissions by .0000000000001% over the course of the season. Every little bit counts counts…right?
GO BANANA!
Are there pics of this said Escalade available?
