Yeah, I guess I missed that. Sorry.

I personally can't stand the magic hat/apple. Never could, even when they first installed it to coincide with the lame "The Magic Is Back" promo campaign in 1980. Are they at least putting in a new hat/apple, or are they importing the one from Shea that looks like it's falling apart?

You can't speculate about whether he will get over the wall at this time. He may develop new special powers.

How about through the wall -- K.M. style.

In that situation, I foresee Lofton taking over full-time for the injured Alou and Chavez remaining in the backup role. That is where he is most effective.

Getting rid of the segregated seating will be a nice thing. Just because you had to get upper tier seats doesn't mean you don't want some of the food only found on the lower level!

SR is also fine. When I go to CBP to see the mets, I get the cheapest seats I can (if not SR, which you can't get in advance, then upper deck jobs). Then I never even bother to go find them. You can watch the whole came from different rail vantage points, or spend time in the bar (patio seating) in CF.

Guess you missed a post or 2 last week. That's exactly what it's for. I personally don't see the big deal, but 2 each his own.

I hope they're tearing them down. Last season one of those shops was responsible for stealing both of my side-view mirrors.

Awesome pics on the Stadium Page site! I'm worried about something I saw though. In the 5th picture down from the top, please tell me that's NOT a pedestal of some kind for the friggin' apple hat.

I remember reading a while ago about how Kenny Lofton might have been of interest to the Mets as an extra outfielder. Has anyone heard anything about this since then? He still is unsigned, and I was thinking maybe the Mets could bring him to camp on a minor league deal. I know the Mets now have Brady Clark and Angel Pagan as insurance, but Lofton probably would be the best of that bunch. If Alou goes down and Endy takes over in left field, having someone reliable like Lofton around could prove to be a worthwhile addition.
