…as usual, the Phillies sent fans a back-door link via e-mail to
purchase single-game tickets in advance of tomorrow’s official sales date…
To access the link, and purchase single-game tickets to Citizen’s Bank Park before the general public, click here.
…thanks to CoreyNYC for the link, and god bless the blogosphere…
As noted in an earlier post to MetsBlog, according to their Facebook Group, more than 500 Phillies fans are planning a ‘Take Over’ of Shea Stadium during the Nationally-televised Phillies-Mets game on September 6, because they are ‘sick and tired of stupid Mets fans taking over Citizen’s Bank Park.’
For what it’s worth, the Mets travel to Philadelphia on Saturday, April 19 and Sunday, April 20, both of which are Nationally televised games.
…Update…10:40 am…
…MetsBlog’s Brandon Eddy has already gathered 24 Mets fans to attend to the Saturday, April 19 game, which will air on FOX…they will be sitting in Section 421…
…additionally, another reader of this site has organized 40 Mets fans to take a bus to the same game…
…so, if you’re thinking of buying tickets, go Saturday…maybe we can get a MetsBlog tailgate going…
…this is going to be a crazy season, isn’t it…oh, man…

I already have a bus of 40 Mets fans going to the 19th game, let’s get a couple of more groups going and we’ll own the place
i want to talk to you about getting some more buses
FYI!
Chinatown busses run $20 round trip from our chinatown to theirs!!!!!
my email is jcunningham2@gmail.com, please email me if you guys are seriously going, we can definitely meet up, I plan on getting to CPB by 1:30pm
It’s on Passover!! We need to do another date too! Someone call Fox and tell them to move the game!!
Wait CoreyNYC sent this link? Ill go, but I dont wanna hear his b*tching when Willie takes Johan out in the 7th for a PH….
Just kidding…
Just got seats on the LF line downstaris….cant wait….lets take that f*cker over!!!!
Maybe I can help you with a math lesson so you can figure out why there will be tickets available at CitiField.
C’mon Corey….loosen up bud…..live a little….
I would expect more out of you here too….that was pretty weak….
wowww, i just want july 4th tickets and some to see the red sox. it’s usually not hard to get tickets at CBP, and they have reasonable prices, i live around here so i should know. i’d love love love to go to april’s game, esp. the sunday night one.
“For what it’s worth, the Mets travel to Philadelphia on Saturday, April 19 and Sunday, April 20, both of which are Nationally televised games.”
Do I hear a Metsblog.com Day at CBP?
I would have been there but 4/19 is the first night of Passover, so all the Jewish Mets fans can’t make it.
Just got tickets to the game on the 19th, bought the cheapest ones because the cool thing about CBP is you can stand on the lower level even though you bought the cheap seats. Last year stood right in back of the handicap section all game… Im in for a tailgate and a victory party at Show & Tell…
Here’s something else Met fans should do: demand that SNY do what the Red Sox network NESN is doing right now. They have live cameras, mics and reporters at spring training. I just watched David Ortiz take some swings and Josh Beckett throw off a mound with Theo Epstein watching dutifully. ALL LIVE! 2 hours every weekday morning. Come on SNY get your you know what together and give us die hard Met fans what we crave, LIVE MET COVERAGE!
I have 8 tickets to the July 4th and 5th games front row, left field loge section. Pat Burrell will not want to play another game after we’re through with him
Let them come to Shea. Nothing would make me happier than seeing their sad little faces when the Mets start beating the sh*t out of the Phillies on national TV none the less.
Any mets fans want to join us, contact rshay1@yahoo.com. He is selling pretty much that whole loge section at a reasonable price.
I got my tickets for 7/4 & 7/5 last night.
As an FYI…
For 7/4 I found the best seats still available to be in the Terrace (312-329) sections. I’ve sat in these before–it is the front rows of the Upper Deck hanging (equivalent to Upper Box at Shea, but somewhat closer to the field…more like being in the Mezz). I got seats around 1B here.
For 7/5, the choices are dwindling. You can sit in the 300’s in RF or the 400’s if you want to sit in the infield (this is what I chose). I think ScoreBoard Porch in LF is still available too (its in the 200’s and is not a horrible place to watch the game and includes $10 to spend on food/drink).
IM ORDERING 10- TIX AND IT TIMED OUT WHEN I WAS SUPPOSED TO ENTER MY CARD INFO ARGhH
Matt put me down for the MetsBlog tailgate just let me no what I have to do.
I got my 2 seats for April 19th in Section 310 Row 17!
I got tix for section 307, row 10! I was deciding between that and section 310 row 17 also. Too bad!
I got 4 tickets for section 307 row 12. At least it looks like those sections will be well represented.
Got 6 tix to April 19th. ALSO got section 310 Row 17 Seats 1-3 AND Row 18 Seats 1-3. I’ll be the one with the Mets flag on a crutch.
Got two for this game and bringing the mega fone.
They can say they will invade Shea on Sept 6th now, but when they are 20 games behind the Mets, Philadelphiaers will show their true colors and it will be eagle football time.
and we all know what happened last season with the Eagles haha Philly sucks!!!!!
Got 4 tix to the April 19th game, cant wait for the tailgate. It’s gonna be ugly epsecially when Beltran blasts a 3 run jack off beat your wife Myers!
Oh man , if he’s on the mound I can hear the chants:
“Beat your wife Myers, beat your wife”.
I got 5 tickets sec 423…where is this tailgate going down at? Cerrone please try to get this organized…
Announcement:
On Saturday, April 19th. Kowalski will own Citizen’s Bank Park Section 307, Row 6, Seats 13-22.
Matt,
Put me and 9 lunatics down for the tailgate.
IT’S ON
Im right behind you in sec 307 row 14. I’m ready to start pre-gaming now damn this season can’t come quick enough!
I’m in between you guys, row 10.
methinks we’re in for quite a good time my friends!
I’m in. Section 307 is gonna be fun!
just got 2, section 423…ny invasion!
I’m in section 307, Row19!!! I’ll be there with a Phillies fan, a Braves fan, and a Red Sox fan.
Should be a great time.
I just got 3 tickets for April 19th!!!
section 245 row 3!!
woohoooo, screw the phillies!! lets take over their territory
I got three seats for July 4, field level, third base side. Last year we sat in the first row of the scoreboard porch–they were pretty good seats and the $10 food coupon made it well worth the price. Hopefully we’ll get to a few more games at CPB this year.
