Who else is ready to hear Beltran’s healthy-percentage? My bet is 85%, but feel free to include your own guesses.

Give me a break…The Mets were in 1st for the majority of the year…They finished in 2nd place by just 1 game…And only because of a historic collapse…

It’s not like the Mets were a last place team that added Santana and now all the fans think the Mets are going to the World Series…

You are going a little overboard with your ’shock’ at fans optimism regarding the Mets…They dominated the NL East for most of last year until the very end…It took a historic collapse for the Mets to finish 1 game out of 1st at 88-74…

    A little perspective please, Matt…

Well said. I had the same reaction when i read that from Cerrone. I’m tired of us being portrayed as a whiny, pessimistic doom and gloom fan base. There are plenty of us who believe, no matter what and it would be nice for people to know that we exist too.

      • Cerrone says:

        I love it.

Six month ago I was repeatedly accused of being a blind loyalist, too optimistic, too hopeful.

        Now I’m pessimistic.

What a difference a trade makes.

Hey Matt, we absolutly care about your part on sportsnite.but as mention above…. The mets are the team to beat….They will win the N.L East… Oh. and prob win a world series. Santana is the guy who wins 3 games in september, stopping a collapse. Thats why us Met fans are optimistic
