sounds like the Mets have a potential Joba like guy if they have a need in the pen late in the year. Or if he stays on track he might even be a fill in starter in August of Sept. I’m beginning to like the idea of Niese or Parnell replaceing Duque in the rotation rather than signing a big free agent. Of course I always like the AA starters too much…

interesting point seeing how the Mets have so many relievers ahead of Kunz, but it makes sense if he dominates AA the way everyone seems to think he will.

Church and FM are the most logical answers, but I think they might end up with an OF made up of three RF’s. Church throws lefty, so he would be my first choice to switch to 1B if it comes to that. If Pagan continues his play into the season he might be the obvious answer, he is still young enough to avoid a bench player tag.

Its a slight to Beltran’s throwing arm to call him a LF, he would be one of the best (defensive) RF in baseball right now even with his bad knees. Or did he have his elbow’s clean out too?

On another note, Matt, you can’t say you had your fantasy draft and not list your picks. That’s a tease. C’mon, post it.

Of course, if his knees aren’t up to the task, they will need to move him sooner rather than later.
