This many hamstring and quad injuries suggests that the guys either aren't stretching enough or they are getting dehydrated.

I've had questions about the Mets strength and conditioning program for years now with all of these seemingly avoidable injuries they get.

At what point do we decide to fire out strength and conditioning coaches? I've had enough of these leg injuries!!

hamstring injury means "While my wife was going to yoga
class every day, I was sitting in a fishing boat".

is "hamstring injury" an alternative to saying "i have to catch 120 games this year, so i'll take some time off now"?

just read the piece by Noble on El Duque. Not exactly flattering, and certainly doesn't paint the picture of a guy that a team should bend over backwards to accomdate.
'
I guess I understand the logic Omar had for bringing back Alou and Duque, but it would be nice if he could have a Mulligan! I guess there really aren't good options for either spot though, so hopefully they can milk some vlaue out of each spot.

Next year though, clear out the old age home (other than Pedro if he pitches well). Alou, Easley, Delgado, Duque, all need to be long gone.

It's coming to the point where they might ask Sandy Alomar Jr. to come out of retirement and catch. I rather them be cautious as well and sit them out until they are fully healthy. I just hope this doesn't linger into the regular season though.
