No one wants Delgado this year at $10 mil…and $16 Mil overall. YOU having issues with reality?!?…I’m shocked….

Thats why i wrote “NOT STREIGHT UP”. A three way deal would be more like it. There are plenty of teams who would want Delgado and would give something th the Marlins.

There is a decent enough track record on part time play for all three that they arent unknowns or unproven. None has been an everyday player in the last two seasons and I dont think any of them would be asked to be an everyday player.

Actually, he’s only ever played third at the major or minor-league level, but the Indians are trying him at first and outfield this spring to improve his versatility. I was just reading an article that the Indians are leaning toward keeping Marte on their opening roster over Josh Barfield and Ben Francisco, who have performed better this spring but still have minor-league options remaining.
