I'm suprised Concepcion was in center, he played rightfield for the Cyclones and he had a canon for an arm, and I'm not exaggerating. Reyes had played center for the Cyclones and didnt show that kind of arm to me.

.250 the second half of spring? spring stats are meaningless enough without having to delve into splits. What were his day/night splits during spring?

Mets Weekly:

This is really a reply to the next blog item, but for some reason the Comments section is closed (I hate when Matt does that!).

Well, I have to say I am disappointed with Joselyn Pierce. She is a pretty woman, but seems overwelmed. Julie Donaldson owned the position. She was a presence on the show. I am not talking about her beauty (she is a hottie (and Joselyn is attractive as well, that is not it), I am talking how she carried herself. Her confidence was apparent in her body language and the sound of her voice.

Jocelyn, at least so far, seems not so confident. She does not carry a segment, but rather gets swept along. She seems less polished, which makes the show more like a home movie rather than a professional SNY-NY Mets piece.

I am not meaning to bash her. Perhaps she will grow in to the position and role. I am just saying based on the initial show, she has a long way to go.

Sure I miss Julie, but I am open to Jocelyn. She just needs to step it up. Hope she does, and soon.
