I knew it couldn't be long before you chimed in with the first dumb anti-Delgado comment. It's fine, he'll shut your butt up before long.

have to give it time. Everyones numbers get inflated hitting in the CBP bandox, against the lousy Philly pitching.

Although I agree that he is going to have a big year. I am on record saying it after the season ended, before he got traded.

I do like what I have seen of Church so far. Too bad they don't have both of them!

Everyone is one year older...

If you replace those three with three guys each 8 years younger all it does is offset everyone else adding 1 year.

The Mets only have 36 players on thier 40 man roster, where those last four guys would likely be 21-25 if they hadnt all been traded for Santana...

Why cant the trade be beneficial to both teams? If Milledge does well then its good for the Nats and him. If Schneider and Church help the Mets to the World Series this year and beyond then it was good for the Mets. It was known at the end of last season that the Mets needed a LH bat in RF and a defensive catcher. They got both for one potentially good player. The only reason they are LH heavy right now is because Schneider bats lefty, but thats good in a way because it gives Castro the opportunity to play more. So again, why cant this trade be a winner for both sides?

With the subtraction of Glavin, Franco, and Valentin I would have thought the roster would have gotten younger, but they said the Mets are the second oldest club in the majors.
