Schneider was brought here in part because of his ability to manage the game. If he is saying that the pitcher has more to give, why not trust his instincts? He is catching so he can gauge velocity, movement, etc. Peterson is all about stats and barometrics (sp?) Willis is all about his "gut" Schneider is in a much better position to make his point.
