i know you're just trying to help CW and others, but my anger is at this $159 extra innings cable package i ponied up for that is anything but extra innings. I am not paying for mlbtv this year (in addition) because my heart cant take the stress when I cant get key games on there either.
So I could listen to the radio, and I could hitch up the buggie for a ride to the store too, but...I'd prefer to see the MLB treat their hardcore customers with some respect for once. How many times should we have to pay for the same content?

CW - I hope you werent thinking that I was saying we should have kept Gotay for IF depth. As I said I knew why they released him and understood it, and no one knew that Pagan was going to play like he has been so I understood keeping Clark as a potential platoon man. But the chances of Castillo or Reyes going down for a few days were still there, and Easley is only good for a day here and a day there to give them some rest. The need for a true backup is there, especially now. Clark has batted what? Maybe 3 times so far in 10 games? Pagan's play has earned him the right to stay when Alou comes back which means Clark is the odd man out. Since this will likely happen in the next 2 or 3 weeks and Reyes and Castillo are hurting, I think it would be prudent to release Clark now and bring up Hernandez or A. Reyes just in case. When Alou returns you just send them down. You cant tell me you didnt feel a little trepidation Friday night when you saw Easley at SS and Marlon Anderson at second. Kind of gave me the "willies".

If you look at some of the real defensive stats the last couple of years, he is ranked at the bottom of his position. Just like Jeter.

That is precisely the reason that Willie made it a point to have Castillo in the lineup today.

Yes he is. And I loved HoJo, he was always my favorite player.

But I have always found it funny that the Mets would employ a hitting coach who could never figure out how to hit anything other than a middle-in fastball during his playing days.

Delgado should have walked to the mound and knocked Showenweiss' head off for the way he reacted to that play, btw...

Realize this, he was held back a day by Willie in order to pitch him against the Phillies next week. This would be 2 straight games where he's given up homers because, as I believe, he's had to much rest and as such, he is unable to be sharp. He's the guy that needs to be throwing every 5th day. Hopefully this giving him an extra days rest experiment is over.

Negative callers? If WFAN were that concerned with negativity on their station they would block Mike and the Mad Dog from hitting the air.
