The Mets (5-5) look to take the rubber game of their three-game series against the Brewers (7-4) this afternoon at Shea Stadium, starting at 1:10 pm EST.

The Pitchers:

LHP Oliver Perez (1-0, 0.00 ERA) takes the hill for the Mets. In his last start for the Mets on Tuesday, Perez received a no-decision versus the Phillies, allowing no runs on three hits, while walking three and striking out two. In seven starts versus the Brewers, Perez is 3-1 with a 4.32 ERA. Perez has yet to allow a run in 11.2 IP this season.

RHP Jeff Suppan (1-0, 2.03 ERA) makes his third start of the season for the Brewers. Suppan received a no-decision in his last start versus the Reds on Tuesday, allowing one run on six hits, while walking two with a strike out. He is 3-2 with a 2.81 ERA in eight career starts versus the Mets.

David Wright is batting .444 with a homerun in 9 career at-bats versus Suppan.
