He hasnt seen an active roster yet, not sure if its an injury or if they just want him starting later in the year to limit his overall innings.

Boy, Tatis is sure looking like that right-handed power bat off the bench right now. When do you think Omar will realize that Brady Clark is wasting space on the roster?

Armas used to be a very solid pitcher. I think at some point he's going to play a role for this team as a starter or even a middle reliever

That Double-A team sounds very exciting. If nothing else, there may be some trade value built up. Hopefully, one of these guys makes it to Shea... oops, I mean the Citi...

These reports make me giddy. Evans, Murphy, Carp, Niese, and F-Mart (duh) are looking like serious talent, despite our farm system being "barren". Keep it up, guys.

I wonder why they're not just printing Toby Hyde's recap of the minor league news. It seems like a reinventing of the wheel. Toby's report has always been quite good.

Very nice to see a solid outing by Tony Armas. Also that Mike Carp is making up for lost time from last season. Shame about Jon Niese. I know he deleted two of his pitches (he was throwing SIX...four-seamer, two-seamer, curve, slider, changeup, splitter and the change and slider were deleted...apparently this was hurting his concentration) and is throwing the two-seamer more with guys on base. He'll get better as the year goes along, though. Personally, I think he has a higher ceiling than Bobby Parnell.
